This page is a record of my

experiences in the conformation ring.

I hope you enjoy looking at these pictures as much as I am enjoying the times they record! My mommy is my best friend and the only person to take me into the breed ring. I am, like my big sister Smudge, always owner-handled.

Mommy says: On June 11, 2005 Icee took Winner's Bitch and Best Opposite Sex at the Wheaton Kennel Club dog show, Wheaton, Illinois under Judge Mrs. Peggy J. Hauck. These were the final 2 points she needed to complete her AKC Championship and now DawnGlo Havanese is home to TWO AKC Champions of Record. I am SO grateful to so many people but must especially thank first, my wonderful husband, who has been my main cheering section, chauffeur, gear carrier and general unpaid kennel help. Fred gave up many weekends in order to allow me to see my dream become reality and I could not have seen Icee become CH Icee without his help, support and most of all, his love and faith in us! Pamm and Jeanne Tapscott, for allowing me to bring Icee into our home and into our hearts.Thanks, too, to our Havanese cheering section! You guys are the BEST. My Havs have brought me so much love and joy and they have also given me the gift of your friendship!

I am dedicating this show win to the memory of Icee's dad, CH Yes Giorio Vom Salzetal, who will live forever in the incredible Havanese babies he has given to the Havanese community. Those who are lucky enough to have a "Herman kid" truly know the beauty, magic, joy and love of this amazing breed. Thank you, Herman, for our amazing baby girl.

January 29, 2006 - Chain 'O Lakes Kennel Club Dog Show - CH Tapscott's White Xmas DawnGlo took Best Opposite Sex to the Best of Breed winner, CH ERAS Do You Believe In Magic, who is the #6 ranked Havanese in the United States! This was a 4 point Major show. We are very proud of Icee, who is always Owner/Handled at all conformation shows! She continues to shine in the Specials ring! Thank you to Judge Mr. Robert J. Moore for recognizing that our Icee is a very Special girl, indeed!

The weekend of October 23-24, 2004 me, Icee - Tapscott's White Xmas DawnGlo - had a great time at the Gold Coast Kennel Club shows in Villa Park, Illinois. On Saturday, October 23, under Judge Don Rogers, I took Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex for a 3 point major! And then on Sunday, October 24, under Judge Mrs. M. Rosalie Anderson I took Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex for another 3 point major! Mommy and I thank Judge Rogers and Judge Anderson for liking me so much and many, many thank yous to Grammy Pamm and Grammy Jeanne for sending me to Mommy and Daddy and big sister Smudge!

On Sunday, November 21, 2004 I had more fun, this time at the Lake Shore Kennel Club dog show in Crete, Illinois! Mommy let me play in the show ring and I got Winners Bitch and then went into the Best of Breed ring where I got Best of Winners and Best Opposite Sex! I am having so much fun playing at these shows on weekends! Please come back soon and check my page to see where I am going next!

Mommy took me to play, at Lake County Fairgrounds in Grayslake, Illinois, for the Park Shore Kennel Club dog show. And oh, did I have fun! I made a lot of new friends and also won my class and took Winner's Bitch for 2 more points toward my championship. This showing stuff is so much fun!
